A MARKETPLACE AT THE INTERSECTION FOR PERFORMANCE AND VISUAL ART IN BROOKLYN
CTNY presents The Brooklyn LIVE ART Market (BLAM); a semi-annually at various locations in Brooklyn. BLAM is a collaboration of some of the best alternative art practitioners in Brooklyn. Contemporary circus arts, production, physical theater, dance, visual art, and bands are featured throughout the evening to cross-pollinate artists and ideas. The event is curated by Sloan Bradford, Isaac Bush, David Paarlberg, and Sasha Steinberg to feature a different found location to redesign each market experience for the audience. Audiences are invited to engage with new work on a visceral level, sampling a variety of in-development work from many of the participating artists. Audience members should expect the unexpected during this dark, immersive, promenade-oriented evening.
